Our indoor bowls group run a session at Beverley War Memorial Hall on a Monday 1:30 pm till 4:00 pm. Please try to be here before 1:20 pm so that we may organise and start bowling by 1:30 pm.

With a successful grant application to the Sports Council all the necessary equipment is available, including several spare sets of bowls for you to try. So come along and give it a try, all you'll need is some flat soled shoes with no raised heels. (shoes must not have been worn outdoors or on the streets, we need to protect our very expensive bowling mats!)

As you can see from the picture with only three bowling mats in use, the Beverley Memorial Hall is large enough to accommodate four mats. We now have 4 (yes FOUR)  bowling mats  so we can comfortably accomodate those busier days when 20 or so bowlers turn up.

 

Our member's abilities range from complete new-comers to really quite good, they are a friendly bunch that play with a non-competetive atmosphere (social bowling). Why not give it a try.
